I am composing music for the whole Gospel of Mark...

Mark's words, closely paraphrased verse-by-verse, narrated alongside newly-composed music for piano.

More than a backing track, the music is illuminating the text, so the remarkable story of Jesus' life can be heard in a whole new way. The completed project will be performed live and shared as a recording.

... and I'm over halfway through!

The final version of Mark (Illuminated) will be in three parts.
Part 1 is complete and was first performed in August 2025.
Part 2 is complete and was first performed in March 2026.
Part 3 is being composed at the moment. We're hoping to finish and perform it (with the other parts) in 2027.
