I am composing music for the whole Gospel of Mark...

Mark's words, closely paraphrased verse-by-verse, narrated alongside newly-composed music for piano.

More than a backing track, the music is illuminating the text, so the remarkable story of Jesus' life can be heard in a whole new way. The completed project will be performed live and shared as a recording.

... and I'm over halfway through!

The first half of Mark's Gospel is now a completed work: Mark Illuminated: Part 1. I presented three free performances of this in Adelaide on the weekend of 22-24 August 2025 – and I would love to give more!

In the meantime, I'm back in the thick of composing again, working on Part 2...
